How can I help you?

WHY NUTRITION COUNSELING?

With all of the information out there about nutrition as well as the numerous fad diets, it’s hard to know what you can trust and what you should run from.

This is where I can help! As a registered dietitian nutritionist, I have extensive training and experience and can help guide you in the right direction.

My goal is to work with each person in an individualized manner, empowering them to make lasting changes to work towards their goals and improve their health.

WHAT SESSIONS MIGHT
LOOK LIKE

An initial nutrition assessment is a time where I get to know you and your goals. I will asses your nutritional and medical history as well as where you are currently. This session is typically 60 minutes in length.

Follow-up sessions are offered as either 30- or 60-minutes appointments and include continuous monitoring and reassessment of your goals. The frequency of follow-up sessions is based on what will best serve you and can range from weekly to monthly.

Tools we may use during your appointments include meal plans, food logs, nutrition myth debunking, grocery label reviews, meal prep strategies, grocery list creating and more.

I strongly believe in an interdisciplinary approach and will communicate with other members of your treatment team including physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals.

REMOTE SESSIONS

During the pandemic, I began seeing all clients virtually using a secure platform called SimplePractice. At this time, I continue to see some clients virtually from the comfort of their home while I see others in-person. If you feel virtual is a better fit for you, let me know! Depending on what state you live in, I may be able to work with you.

INSURANCE COVERAGE?

At this time, I am not in-network with any insurance providers. I offer all clients a detailed statement after their session that they can use to submit for any eligible reimbursement to their insurance providers. I encourage all clients to reach out to their insurance carriers ahead of time to see if they have any coverage for nutrition services.
