Whether you’re the parent of a teen who just seems to be a picky eater or you aren’t sure your teen athlete is eating enough to meet the needs of their physical activity, I am here to help. As a mother of two active kids, I know all too well the difficulty of family meal planning and cooking a balanced meal between school and sport activities. I can offer guidance to providing enticing nutrition-packed lunches and snacks or easier ways to prepare balanced meals on the table in the evenings with hectic schedules.
Sessions can be structured with groupings of the entire family, with the parents and teens, teen alone or different combinations and times. Nutritional needs of children or other members of your family can be highlighted. If you’re the primary family member doing meal preparation, I can assist with meal planning, prep ideas, recipe searches, and more to ensure the best nutritional plan is being offered for the entire family.
Frequency of Visits: How frequently we meet will depend on what kind of support my clients are looking for. While I would love to meet with everyone frequently, I understand that that is not always doable with busy after-school schedules. To help with busy schedules, I offer both daytime and nighttime appointment spots as well as weekend availabilities upon request. Virtual appointments can also be a great option for families that just find it hard to find time to get in somewhere in-person.
